Hidden in the depths of the Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary, in Arunachal Pradesh, there is this absolutely stunning lake called the Glaw Lake. Very few people know about this lake and even fewer venture on it’s trail. As you hike along the route, you will be accompanied by the roaring Kamlang river, troops of Hoolock gibbons, scores of birds and butterflies and some other wild animals. Remember you are walking right into the heart of a very dense forest which is the 50th tiger reserve in India. Apart from this arduous trek , we also have a short hike in the Dong village, a village that sees the first sunrises in the entire country. So when you walk up to the sunrise point and see the dawn crack over the horizon , you are actually catching the first rays of the sun, way before others. How amazing is that ? And to make your journey more memorable we have included the Golden Pagoda at Namsai, Parshuram Kund at Lohit and Lohit view point in the itinerary.
