Hello everyone! My name is Aditya Biswas and I’m a 2nd year B.Com student. My very first trekking experience was with Soma’s Camps in 2015. It was an amazing experience. I got to do things I always wanted to, pitch a tent, walk through forests and mountain pathways for hours and since I have an interest in photography, it was a very special learning experience for me.
The second time, we went on a cycling trip in 2016. I cycled 24 kms! It was a very big achievement for me cause it was the first time I ever tried something like that.
The third time was a trekking trip to Phalut in 2017. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The sceneries I witnessed were out of this world. And I got the opportunity to click some amazing pictures there.
Except for all the memories these trips gave me, they also helped me in meeting some amazing and very interesting people. Everyone with a story tell. It felt like we were a big family and Soma mashi was the mother of the family. Soma Majumder Pal is a very fun loving person. She is always caring and tending to everyone’s needs and working at 110% to keep everyone safe. She can be strict sometimes, but that’s how a mother behaves when she needs to, right?
At Soma’s Camps, you’ll feel like you’re part of a family and the experience gets 10 times more fun. I cannot wait to go again with the group! I would definitely recommend newcomers to have a go.
